IMO World Series

Description: The IMO is the World Championship Mathematics Competition for pre-college students. In recent years, over 100 countries regularly participate in the IMO, sending a team of up to six contestants, selected through a rigorous team-selection test and national olympiad cycle. 

At Mathelots, we are proud to be supporters of the IMO and the Olympiad tradition. The IMO World Series is a pro-bono initiative of our founder, Anant Mudgal and Mathelots. 

We endeavour to bring top-quality IMO training, resources, mentorship and materials accessible to the top-ranking IMO teams to all teams of the world through this global initiative. 

Duration: October 5, 2025 to April 15, 2025

Format: Online 1-hour lectures, once a week, in APAC, EU and NA timezones, in the style of lectures at Oxford and Cambridge. 

Style: Problem-solving, walkthroughs, Olympiad-level lectures.

Homework: Assigned every week in advance of the classes. Due every two weeks.

Eligibility: Contestants who represented their country at IMO 2025 held in Sunshine Coast, Australia, that are also eligible to attend their respective Team Selection Tests and participate at IMO 2026 in Shanghai, China. 

Registration: Opens September 1, 2025 and is rolling year-round.
